About

We are just a normal family, recently having walked through the path of Jewish conversion. It is a time of learning and growth, so exciting and at times scary as we feel our way through the changes required by halacha. It is a journey we set out on intentionally and we are sure of, and thus we feel the weight of the responsibility we are accepting. To become one with the family of HaShem’s chosen people, to accept a history that our ancestors may have contributed to, to adopt a way of life held intact by generations who were persecuted, all of this is enlightening and peaceful while still being the most broad sweeping and engulfing decision of our lives. Nearly every action of a Jew has the potential to be raised to a mitzvah. So much of what we do each day can be raised to be a spiritual act and give more meaning to our lives if we seek to learn how and why we should do that.

We are humbled and excited to be on this journey! I hope you’ll read along and join with us.

Traditions, traditions. Without our traditions, our lives would be as shaky as… as… as a fiddler on the roof!
